Britain: Indian MBA Student From Andhra Pradesh Dies In London Fire

London: An Indian youth from Andhra Pradesh died in a fire at his home in London. According to the victim's family and the local police, a sudden fire had broken out at the house where he was residing. The victim was reportedly residing with two others, who were also caught up in the fire but managed to escape. However, Ganti Abhishek failed to get out and is believed to have died due to suffocation.

One of the individuals who escaped is in critical condition and undergoing treatment at a hospital in London. Visuals showed the condition of the house after the blaze, with parts of the house completely charred.

What was the identity of the victim?

According to a reort by India Today, Abhishek was a native of Andhra Pradesh's Peddapuram. His father, Ganti Askar Rao, serves as Secretary of the Andhra Pradesh Government Employees’ Association. The 26-year-old had moved to London in 2023 to pursue an MBA and for career opportunities in the English capital. The tragic news has left Abhishek's family and relatives deeply shocked and grief-stricken. The London Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
